Location: Office of the President - Oakland Date Posted: May 3, 2024 Key role responsibility to oversee financial operations within the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Services, the Associate Director manages financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis activities. This position collaborates with various departments to ensure financial goals align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Associate Director provides strategic guidance on financial decisions and risk assessments, and implements controls to optimize financial performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Services, the Associate Director: Provides management, oversight, and direction to unit staff on the day-to-day activities involved in providing accurate and timely financial data and quality service to the ANR community, Office of the President, and external entities to support the mission of the University of California.
This position reports directly to the Oakland office location. Our current policy supports a hybrid work model, which may require occasional travel to our Davis location.
