Department Overview

The Work Plan Delivery team is responsible for ensuring efficient end-to-end execution of Functional Area programs supported by Land Management, Environmental Management and Programs and Enterprise Public Works. The team manages the systems, processes and analytics used to effectively schedule, prioritize, and execute Land, Environmental & Permitting Services (LEAPS) owned preconstruction activities.

Position Summary

Provides an infrastructure, enabling Line of Business (LOB) departments and employees to conduct business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and/or appropriately understand and manage risk across the organization. Ensures employees have a clear understanding of compliance requirements, ensures work processes incorporate guidance and other controls, and conducts compliance-related reviews and root cause analyses, as needed, to ensure controls are effective.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $147,000

Bay Area Maximum: $251,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary interface for medium programs including leading coordination and facilitation of program review sessions to review costs, schedule and program effectiveness.
  • Ensures the department meets all legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Leads cross-organizational projects that will maintain and strengthen compliance infrastructure.
  • Oversees the development of governance standards, processes and procedures to assure accurate records.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and coaching, and rewards and recognition.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Environmental discipline, Sciences, Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience working in compliance and/or risk management at a corporate and operational level
  • 3 years leadership experience

Desired:

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • LSS-Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Ability to travel up to 40 percent of working time
