Overview
The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is recruiting for an Administrative Services Coordinator I in the Laboratory Sciences and Infectious Disease Division. Our work falls into three main sections: Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Immunizations, and the Public Health Laboratory. These high-performing teams rely on our administrative services to provide operational support to keep their work flowing smoothly. Location: This position will primarily be stationed in Waterbury. There is potential for this position to work a hybrid remote schedule, but some weekly in office days will be required. The person in this position will also work closely with staff at the Public Health Laboratory in Colchester and may need to be on site from time to time. Who May Apply

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. OR One year of full-time college coursework in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. OR Two years of full-time college coursework OR and associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field. OR One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Technician IV with the State of Vermont. Special Requirements
