Infusion Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the Pharmacy Department in the mission to support patient care and research. Our technicians prepare complex preparations to treat cancer in a state of the art clean room compliant with USP <797> and <800>.

Responsibilities:

  • Sterile Compounding of hazardous/non-hazardous commercial and investigational medications.
  • Participates in continual process improvement work flows.
  • Inventory management and medication tracking.
  • Performs various regulatory and quality control tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited entry-level degree program for pharmacy or a related field.
  • Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) must be obtained within 1 year of the start date.
  • Prior work experience as a pharmacy technician required.
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule.
