The Liu Lab and the Lab for Child Development (LCD) jointly seek a Research Assistant to lead recruitment initiatives and activities across both labs. Both labs study the origins of human knowledge. The Liu Lab (www.liulaboratory.org) is broadly interested in the developmental and neural origins of psychological and physical reasoning and the Lab for Child Development (https://labforchilddevelopment.com) is broadly interested in the origins of learning, curiosity, and cognition. Both labs maintain the core values of (1) scientific transparency and rigor, (2) community and support, and (3) increasing diversity in STEM. The Research Assistant will leverage their experience with recruitment strategies and knowledge of best practices in marketing to create effective campaigns to recruit participants to the labs. This is a casual/on-call position (approximately 20 hours per week), subject to the availability of funds. Specific Duties & Responsibilities
