Are you a Data Center and/or Gateway Hardware Deployment Engineer interested in joining an End-to-End HW Deployment team that is defining, documenting, installing, troubleshooting, and supporting data center and satellite deployments for future commercial broadband satellite communication ground systems? Do you enjoy the challenge of working with RF, Server, and Network Engineering teams to define, document and test hardware in an end-to-end system environment? If so, this is the role for you! Job Responsibilities In this role, you will learn the high-level capabilities of the end-to-end system and all its components! You will a part of the design and deployment of global ground network infrastructure. You will generate engineering drawings for end-to-end system design, 2D CAD schematics, and cable lists. You will manage subcontractors, outside vendors as well internal teams to facilitate the physical deployment of future commercial broadband satellite communication ground systems. You will support the definition of new end to end system connectivity, build up these deployments, verify deployments, and troubleshoot and isolate faults with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Requirements Bachelors Degree in a related engineer field or equivalent work experience 3+ years of relatable experience Understanding of facility level principles in support of computer/electrical systems including common utility AC and DC power distribution Experience with datacenter, gateway, and teleport designs, cabling and documentation Experience with the installation of datacenter, gateway, and teleport equipment Strong leadership, collaboration and written and oral communication skills Experience working with large amounts of data in MS Excel Travel up to 50% Preferences Experience with fiber optic networks Familiar with datacenter, gateway, and teleport operations Experience managing technical projects, technicians, and 3rd party contractors Experience managing and/or working with multidisciplinary engineering teams Project management, communication, and organizational skills Scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, REST or equivalent language Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD and/or SolidWorks Electrical Experience with Networking (TCP/IP) Experience with Linux Experience with Satellite/Wireless Experience with IF/RF measurements Experience with VAC/VDC measurement, installation, and debug Experience with Product lifecycle management software Familiarity with business operations, global trade To learn more about this site and other office locations, please click ! For Colorado-based jobs only: The minimum for this position is $94,350 annually; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
